Friends on the Phone
What is it?
Friends on the Phone is a weekly phone befriending service, where you are carefully matched to one of our lovely volunteers. They will then give you a ring each week at a regular time to have a chat and a catch up.
The phone calls will last anything between 5 mins and an hour, depending on how much you have to talk about! You can receive the Friends on the Phone service for as long as you are finding it beneficial.
Who can be referred?
Any adult living with sight loss in Calderdale can be referred to the service.
Does it cost anything?
No. There is no cost for this service.
